Varistor protected...both the power supply and the input circuit are protected from transient voltages.
High noise immunity...solid state design uses CMOS technology to provide a high level of noise immunity.
Debounce input circuitry...both 3 wire KYZ inputs drive RS flip flop latches to prevent false counts from bouncing contacts.
Switch selectable maximum rates...the standard design will allow maximum output rates of 400, 200, or 100 pulses per minute to permit flexibility in application and assure that the output will be compatible with the recording device. Where your requirement is different, please specify the desired rates using 4-2-1 ratios and they will be provided at no additional charge.
Switch selectable output scaling...the input pulses can be divided by 4, 2, or 1 to provide flexibility in the application.
Bi-color LED's...monitors the state of the inputs and output to verify operation and facilitate troubleshooting of the metering system.

High resolution capability...each input channel is capable of accepting the remaining portion of the maximum output rate, i.e. each channel can accept the full output rate if there are no pulses on the other channel. Storage circuitry will also allow the capture of short term pulse burst rates up to twice the maximum output rate.
Cascading capability...additional circuit boards can be added as required to provide totalizing capability for more than two circuits without performance disadvantages.
Surge protected output contacts...RC networks are applied in parallel to the output contacts to control the rate of voltage rise across the contacts during circuit opening. The standard design will provide contact protection up to 300 volts and 0 to 100 MA. where the requirement is greater than 100 MA, please specify the expected load current and voltage and the proper contact protection will be provided at no additional charge.
